If you have read my two previous reviews of Revitive circulation boosters, you know that Revitive devices represent a drug-free alternative to maintain and improve your circulatory system. Revitive IX Circulation Booster has some exclusive features that neither the Revitive CX nor Revitive LV models have.
The unit works with electric muscle stimulation (EMS) to increase leg circulation by stimulating the muscles in your feet and lower legs. In addition to what CX and LV models offer, it also includes new Widepulse Waveforms and IsoRocker that will enhance your overall experience. Read on to find out more.
Revitive IX review
What I like
- Great performance
- Extensive functionalities
- Comfortable
- Remote control
- Positive customer feedback
What I don’t like
- Less affordable
What are you buying?
Revitive IX is an innovative and award-winning device that includes two exclusive features that Revitive CX and LV models don’t offer:
- Widepulse Waveforms (provide more comfortable stimulation)
- IsoRocker (allows ankle joint exercise)
This product is actually a medical device that has been designed for the purpose of alleviating discomfort caused by poor circulation in the legs. It is marketed as a device that improves leg health overall by increasing lower leg blood circulation. The result experienced by people is a reduction of swelling in the feet and ankles and an alleviation of discomfort and pain.
You should check the TV ad below in which Sir Ian Botham is talking about how the device had helped him.
When you use EMS, it works by causing calf muscles to relax and contract. This creates a pumping action that increases blood circulation. The result is almost instantaneous relief from swelling, pains and aches, which many people confirmed. Daily use for about 20-30 minutes should bring about noticeable benefits to overall health and well-being.
From the two new functions I mentioned above, I liked the IsoRocker that is designed to create ankle joint movement, which increases the blood circulation around your ankles. It is effectively a roller underneath the device which should eventually help reduce swelling in your ankles and feet.
I couldn’t really see any additional effect of the Widepulse Waveforms but the manufacturer claims this patented feature makes the effect of the circulation booster more comfortable.
How easy is it to use?
Nothing could be simpler than using the Revitive IX. Just place your feet on the foot pads and press the buttons or use the remote control to select the intensity level you want. You can adjust the intensity level all the way from 1 to 99.
Depending on the power level you set (I find around 30-40 is best for me), your muscles will tingle and you will feel it work although sometimes it takes a while until you feel something. This wide range of choices makes it easy to select a level that is both effective (causing muscle contraction in the legs), comfortable and rejuvenating.
Compared to Revitive CX, there is no beeping while changing the intensity level and the control seems to be a bit more responsive.
What accessories are included?
Here’s what you’ll find when you open your Revitive IX box:
- Instructions for use
- 4 x TENS electrode pads (for use on other parts of body)
- 4 dust pad protectors
- Revitive IX device
- 2 x AA batteries
- AC/DC adaptor
- Remote control
Key feauters of Revitive IX Circulation Booster
Pros
It is difficult to create a pros and cons section for this product because my experience has been very positive:
- Great performance and functionalities – in addition to its great performance, things such as 1-99 intensity settings, digital display and remote control all contributed to the overall very positive experience I had with this circulation booster.
- Comfortable – Angled incline of this device makes its use much more comfortable than other circulation boosters. Also, footpads where you place your feet feel softer to the touch compared to the other Revitive devices.
- Customer feedback – the product has gathered a burgeoning collection of five-star reviews on retailers’ websites expressing complete satisfaction from most reviewers.
Cons
- Less affordable – Price close to 200 pounds makes it one of the most expensive circulation boosters / foot massagers on the market. This is a Revitive’s premium product indeed.
I have checked also Amazon customers’ reviews. The very few reviewers who were not completely satisfied did not complain about the product, per se. Instead they complained that the company did not respond to questions, complaints and requests for refund or exchange.
Anything else you should know?
This product is intended for use by people (including pregnant women past the first trimester of pregnancy) who wish to increase their circulation and reduce instances of swollen ankles and feet, as well as leg discomfort. It was developed in the UK, and clinical studies conducted there have shown Revitive IX to be both effective and safe for people fitting this description.
Be aware that the Revitive IX is not an ideal product for everyone. You should consult your doctor for using this product. You should also read the warnings that come with the product very carefully before use. Understand that positive results are dependent upon appropriate and responsible use.
Take note that this product is not available for sale to minors (those under 18 years of age). When you purchase the product, you must declare that you are not a minor.
Conclusion
Good circulation in the legs supports good circulation throughout the body. It allows your blood to efficiently carry waste products and carbon dioxide from the lower legs to the heart where the blood is re-oxygenated.
If you are unable to get as much exercise as you need to support a strong circulatory system, smart, regular use of technology such as the Revitive IX can help you maintain good health.
Is Revitive IX better than some other circulation boosters on the market? Is it worth the price? My answer is ‘yes’ to both questions.

Revitive IX Circulation Booster Review
Summary
Revitive IX Circulation Booster is a premium, innovative and award-winning device. It offers a great performance and extensive functionalities that create a very positive experience.
This is an excellent product and works very well, you can really feel the good It is doing to your circulation while it’s working. Here is a personal tip that works very well. They recommend using some gel or something to moisturise your feet to get a better electrical contact. I wipe the whole surface with a moist baby wipe and this not only keeps it clean and hygienic but leaves it moist to achieve the better contact.
Worth every penny. I do a lot of writing so am sitting down quite a bit. Have this under my desk so that I can keep the circulation in good order while I am typing! May be coincidence but haven’t had any night time cramp since I have been using it either. Brilliant product.
Please could you let me know if this device would be helpful for RLS?
Does this device help with RLS?
Would this help with neuropathic pain in feet and legs . Burning . Aching. Muscle cramps?
I’ve been using the unit for about 6 weeks. It took a couple of weeks to realize any benefit. From then on, it’s very apparent that it works as I had hoped it would. I have neuropathy pain on both feet and my toes had gone numb. I now have feeling back in my toes and far less pain in the feet. I use it nightly. I have to start in on 70 (based on a 1-99 scale with 99 being the strongest) of the full strength and it takes about 3-4 minutes to feel it at all. Then it becomes stronger by the minute until it’s too strong and I have to reduce it in increments of 10 every 7-8 minutes or so until I finally reach 40 and finish the 60 minutes. My wife feels it on 30 after about 2-3 minutes.
The electrical cord is much too short. Very inconvenient
I would suggest you try REVITIVE Medic, which is cordless. It contains a rechargeable battery like that of an electronic toothbrush or you phone (lithium ion rechargeable battery).
Wow, this is a product that I never knew was on the market. I can understand the benefits for sure. I am a little concerned that the cord is too short like others are saying.
Seems like an extension cord would solve that problem.
I am an active, slim 41 year old with very swollen ugly feet and ankles! Not only do i find their appearance embarrasing, it is also very uncomfortable. My legs are heavy and ache and so swollen the skin is itchy and tight. I suffer from RLS and have extremely cold feet at night which so often keeps me awake for hours. I was getting distraught as there seems to be no cure. Antistax certainly do nothing, so i am very much looking forward to seeing if this will help my circulation problems. Will post back again when i see results. I have already, first go, had it up to 80 but reduced to 70. I can feel the benefits already and am looking forward to losing ugly elephant feet! Will keep you posted!
Hi Jayne, I was wondering if you had any more feedback? I’ve been pit on meds for the RLS but would much rather not be on any medication and instead use something like this. Has it helped? If so I will be buying one asap.
I agree with above… could they make the cord longer?
I noted a reference to not use this devise if you have a pacemaker installed in one of the adds True or false?
True. You can not use any devices of this nature with a pacemaker.
I’ve been using the unit for about 10 weeks now and have noticed a huge improvement in a number of areas. The unit I have is run by a rechargeable battery so I don’t have to worry about short cords etc. I have OA in my ankles, knees and hips. My ankles have been swollen and very sore for years and the unit has reduced the swelling and the pain almost totally, I now have a lot more movement in my ankles. I use it for about 30 mins a day on a setting of 75.
It was also supplied with remote plug in knee pads pads which I use 5 times a week on each knee for about 20 mins a time and this has helped reduce pain and gives the knees far more flexibility. I have also used the pads on my hips by placing one pad on my hip and the other just above my knee, this has helped reduce the pain and by doing so helped me sleep better at night.
All in all, although costing £300 (£50 of which was VAT and refunded) this has proved to be one of the most effective purchases I’ve ever made!
I have been using my 1x for a while and have recently run it at 99. I am now developing swollen ankles. Could this be caused my using it too strong?
I am nearly 88 and have spine problems.
This item ok for use by people with high blood pressure?

is there one you can use if you have a pacemaker
Hi – i am considering purchasing this unit, I understand it comes with 4 TENS electrode pads, it does not mention anywhere whether you can connect all four TENS pads at once to use for stimulating back and shoulder area. How long is the cord for TENS pads.
is this any help for dealing with spascicity after stroke
can i get vat relief on this as i am disabled
How does it work for a single leg amputation?
I think you need 2 legs to complete the circuit. I read a review elsewhere from an amputee who complained this wasn’t made clear by the company
